Why is there no total tuition?
We understand that different students work at different paces, and we also understand that most of our students seek an alternative method of education because they seek to place their education first. National High School resourcefully offers our students the opportunity to subscribe to our institution on a monthly basis for $150 a month. We seek to reward individuals who diligently work towards the completion of their education.

Do I need to buy textbooks?
All core courses (English, Math, Science, Social Sciences, Foreign Languages and Health) have digital textbooks that are included in the enrollment fee for your course.

Advanced Placement courses and Career/Tech courses:
require a hard copy book, as they are usually not available in digital format. Books can be ordered directly through the publisher or through Amazon.com by using the information provided in the syllabus.

Does my initial payment of $150 give me access to my learn center and my courses?
There is a 2 week period in which National High School has to evaluate your transcript, assign the classes needed to meet the requirements if either the credit recovery program or the high school completion program, order the textbooks needed for each of the courses, assign you an academic advisor and a student services coordinator, and set up the virtual environment from which you will be learning.

The initial payment of $150 on the day you enroll covers this time period as well.

What’s your Refund policy?
To avoid being charged for the following month, you will need to communicate your desire to withdraw from the program prior to the 4th of the month.

Will I receive credit for the work I’ve done if I withdraw from the program?
National High School’s courses and curriculum are all self paced. However, we do go by the traditional semester system that most brick and mortar schools follow. We award 0.5 credits for each semester course, which is 18 weeks long, and we award 1.0 credit for every 36 week course. If you are unable to meet the semester mark at the time of withdrawal, NHS cannot award you the credit for that course.

Can I enroll as an international student?
50% of the students enrolled at National High School reside in over 90 different Countries outside of the United States. NHS is internationally and Regionally Accredited, through CITA and SACS. International students looking to enroll in an accredited U.S College or University, must have a High School diploma from an accredited U.S. High School.
