National High School Credit Recovery Program allows for full-time students enrolled in traditional, brick and mortar schools to take the recovery credit courses which they need to meet their resident high school's graduation requirements.
Our recovery credit courses are independent study units which are designed to cater your high school credits and give the students an opportunity for recovery of credits in subjects required. However, students are required to apply for National High School Credit Recovery Program, where they need to get an approval for recovery of credits. Once, the approval is attained, students are required to complete the courses and submit to National High School for recovery of credits. Evaluators at National High School report the student’s grade to the counselor and assign the grade accordingly.
If the school is accredited by one of the six regional accreditation bodies in the United States, then the recovery of credits are accepted. National high school is accredited by the Southern Association of colleges and Schools ( www.sacs.org), which is one of the six regional accreditation bodies.
Also, National High School requires school counselors to sign a credit transfer form for recovery credit courses that guarantees the successful credit transfer of the makeup courses before enrollment. This provides clarification to students and parents that the classes will be transferred back to their high school.
